WE WANT TO HEAR FROM OUR COMMUNITY!
Apple Valley Fire Protection District is participating in San Bernardino County’s update of the 2027 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (MJHMP)—and your input is an important part of the process.
The MJHMP helps identify hazards that could affect our communities and develops long-term strategies to reduce risks before disasters happen. This includes hazards such as wildfires, earthquakes, floods, extreme heat, severe weather, drought, and other emergencies.
As a participating agency, AVFPD is encouraging our residents, businesses, and community partners to take a few minutes to complete the County’s Community Survey.
Your feedback can help identify:
• Hazards that concern you most
• Areas or infrastructure that may be vulnerable
• Past experiences with disasters and emergencies
• Ideas for reducing future risks
• Priorities for making our community more resilient
Your local knowledge matters. The information gathered through this process will help San Bernardino County and participating agencies—including Apple Valley Fire Protection District—better understand community concerns and develop mitigation strategies for the future.

CONFIRE EMS is ready to serve. Beginning October 1, CONFIRE EMS will provide ambulance transportation services in communities throughout San Bernardino County. Our team continues preparing for the upcoming transition and is committed to providing coordinated, high-quality service to the communities and partners we serve. 25 Years. We Remember.

Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost that day, including the 343 FDNY firefighters who answered the call and made the ultimate sacrifice.

We honor the courage of the first responders, the strength of the survivors, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we have not forgotten.
