Appleton Area NOW is sounding the alarm about a deceptively worded ballot measure this November. If passed, this referendum will enshrine a ban on government diversity and equal opportunity programs in the constitution.

Interested members on the east coast of Wisconsin, Manitowoc is looking into DeFlocking their community. There is a meeting coming up this Sunday that is open to the public. Bring a friend that may be interested as well.

September has arrived and this is your reminder to see us at our brake light clinic in Appleton on September 19th. There’s a lot of chatter about it being an easy job and such. As we aren’t mechanics we will say it isn’t that complex but if you’ve been driving around with a burnt out light we are going to be ready to go.

A whole new month and NEW DSA is here for it, we’ve got plans and welcome you to join us. It’s a Fox Valley month, but our regular meeting will be online only due to the libraries being closed for the long Labor Day weekend. Slice and coffee will be in Appleton as it is on Fox Valley months. We also have the Free Brake Light Clinic and tabling events in Appleton and Manitowoc. Greater Green Bay friends you may find this an interesting meeting. If you have the time next Sunday afternoon. Links for your portals are unknown currently. Next steps for de-flocking will be planned and prioritized at this meeting. This is not a DSA sponsored event and is open to anyone

Storm relief is available from the NAR Relief Foundation. Funds are available for homeowners and renters! Please look at the expenses that qualify and the documentation needed. Complete the process by Oct. 7, 2026. If you know someone that would be helped by these funds please share this info, this may not be on their radar right now with everything in the mix. Insurance, even exceptional policies don’t cover the financial costs of this type of loss.

Those radical socialists giving away free stuff and their labor. You better believe it, we call it building a better tomorrow, making our community stronger and safer for everyone. You will have to sign a waiver other than that a thank you (gracias). All are welcome, no questions asked. We will be there ready to go, if we don’t have your bulb on hand, and you have the time we will go get the one you need. We might even have cookies!
