She breaks down the results of a recent survey they conducted, explains the next steps, and shares that one of their community funds, the Nelson Fund, won the prestigious Wisconsin Parks and Recreation Association award.

Cheers to 25 years!

President and CEO, Curt Detjen, celebrated his 25th anniversary with the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region this past February. This week, board members, staff, friends, and family gathered to toast to his past two and a half decades of leadership.

"It is honestly humbling to think about being with an organization and having this opportunity to make a difference in this way for 25 years. In so many ways though, I mean, we have grown a lot, we have helped a lot of people accomplish their goals and make the community better in so many ways. But in so many ways, it feels like we have not even gotten started.”

Thank you for all you have done to support a flourishing Fox Valley Region and as we look forward, we know the best is yet to come.

Doing good, feels good.

The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region supports our staff to get in the weeds and support our nonprofits through dedicated volunteer hours. We are excited to see the seeds of kindness grow into a flourishing garden because together, we flourish.

The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley's office will be closed Monday, May 25 - Wednesday, May 27 in observation of Memorial Day and for scheduled maintenance.

Our staff will be available in office, over the phone, and via email starting Thursday, May 28th.

Katie Juedes recently joined the Appleton Education Foundation (AEF), a supporting organization of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. Katie will provide administrative support to AEF team to help them further their mission to strengthen and enhance education in our community.

What may seem simple to many can be life-changing for the young adults we serve. Access to a safe shower means dignity, confidence, comfort, and meeting one of the most basic human needs.
