We are SO excited to kick off a brand new school year! Whether you’re pivoting into a new grade or just excited to see your favorite people, we know it's going to be a fantastic year. ✨

Notice something new? Before you head inside, make sure to check out the front of the school. We now have TWO brand-new benches ready for you! Think of it as our version of the Central Perk orange couch. 🧡It's the perfect spot to hang out, catch up, and remind each other that "I'll be there for you!" Because that isn't just a theme song around here... it's how we roll. 💛🩵

🍎 It was a fantastic week of learning and connection for our staff! 📚✨

Our incredible team spent the last few days collaborating on new ideas, growing our teaching tools, and strengthening our school family. From engaging educational sessions to moving our bodies and sharing lots of laughs, we used this week to connect and recharge. We are so grateful for this time together and feel completely inspired and ready to welcome our students back to the classroom! ❤️

What an Electric Night, Lightning Bugs!⚡️

A massive THANK YOU to all the incredible Sandy Slope families who buzzed into the building for our Meet and Greet Night! Seeing our pods packed with your bright smiles, high-fives, and unstoppable energy was the absolute perfect way to kick off the season.

The connection tonight proved that this is going to be the most amazing school year! Our teachers are officially fueled up and bursting with excitement to welcome everyone back to the classrooms.

☀️ Summer is winding down, but our staff is recharged and ready! 🎒

Our AMAZING staff spent their time learning, exploring and relaxing. 📚 They attended workshops for fresh classroom ideas. ✈️ Many traveled near and far on fun adventures.🏡 While others relaxed and soaked up the sun and family time.

We can't wait to bring our high energy back to Sandy Slope! 🧡💛🩵

Lace up, Sandy Slope! Girls on the Run is back and ready to rock!

Attention all Sandy Slope students—are you ready to activate your girl power? Registration is open for an amazing season of growth, friendship, and high-energy fun! Girls on the Run Northeast Wisconsin is coming back to Sandy Slope Elementary this fall.

This program teaches girls vital life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games while building unstoppable confidence and teamwork!

Here is what you need to know to join the fun:

Kickoff: Practices start September 15th for girls in grades 3rd-5th.
The Routine: We meet twice weekly to play, learn, and get active together.
The Big Goal: We finish the season with an epic, celebratory 5K event at the Ariens Nordic Center in Brillion on Saturday, November 7th!

Spots fill up fast, so grab your sneakers and don't miss out!

⚾️🎉 MASCOT PARTY ALERT! 🎉⚾️

Hey, families! Our very own incredible mascot, Spark, is heading to the ballpark, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, this Friday, August 21st from 5:40 pm-6:00 pm, to celebrate a very special occasion—Fang’s 31st Birthday Party! 🎂🎈

Spark will be joining Fang and a whole crew of mascot friends for a night packed with fun, laughs, and baseball. You won't want to miss a single minute of the action!

Here is the lineup of mascot madness you can expect:
Kickball Showdown (Pre-Game): Arrive early! Approximately one hour before the first pitch, Spark and the other mascots are facing off in an epic Mascot Kickball Game right on the field! 👟⚽️

On-Field Fun: Keep your eyes on the field between innings for special on-field promotions featuring Spark and the gang! 🤩

The Birthday Sing: During a designated inning, look up at the dugout tops! The mascots will be helping the entire stadium sing a massive "Happy Birthday" to Fang. 🎶🎂

7th Inning Stretch: Time to get up and move! While mascots can't speak, they sure can groove. 💃👕

Post-Game Fireworks & Base Running: Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show! Afterward, all kids in attendance get to run the bases! 🎆🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Let’s show our school spirit and support Spark and Fang! Grab your tickets, wear your school colors, and we will see you at the ballpark this Friday! 🎟✨
