Fox Valley Area-Fraternal Order of Police

Some calls end when the shift ends. Others stay with you long after the uniform comes off.

The weight of this job is real, even when no one else can see it.

Our region has experienced severe storm damage, and our hearts and minds are with all those who are affected. We know how hard it is to see neighbors hurting and to want to jump in immediately. That instinct to help is what makes this community so special.

Right now, the most helpful thing we can do is respond with care, patience, and intention. Please follow the guidance of local officials, avoid damaged and restricted areas so first responders can do their work safely, and check on those around you, especially the elderly and anyone living alone.

To every officer, first responder, and volunteer already out there in the aftermath: thank you. And to our neighbors who are hurting tonight, you are not alone. This community has always shown up for one another, and we will get through this together.

Stay safe, look out for each other, and keep those affected in your thoughts.

Sharing from our brothers and sisters at the Jackson Police Department

One of our own is hurting, and the law enforcement family doesn’t recognize lodge lines or jurisdictions when it’s time to show up. Lt. Mike Foeger and his father Karl were critically injured in the Cedarburg explosion, and both remain hospitalized.

FOP Kettle Moraine Lodge #10 has set up a fundraiser to support the Foeger family during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re able to give, every bit helps: https://gofund.me/ded0c39b9

Please keep Mike, Karl, and the entire Foeger family in your thoughts and prayers — and share this post to help spread the word.

This week, we honor the men and women behind the walls who serve with perseverance, professionalism, and heart. In one of the toughest environments in the criminal justice system, they continue to show up day in and day out. We see you, we respect you, and we thank you for everything you do.

When one of our own needed help, our members showed up. 💙

Today, members of Fraternal Order of Police – Fox Valley Lodge, along with friends, co-workers, and neighbors came together to support Chief Knapp after the recent flooding caused significant damage to her home.

This is what the FOP is all about… standing beside each other not only on the job, but in life. Service, brotherhood, sisterhood, and community do not end when the shift does.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and muscle to help during a difficult time. Your willingness to step up is a true reflection of who we are.
