The students find comfort in the Nest thanks to a wonderful group of volunteer handlers who bring therapy/comfort dogs to KA. These visits help kids regulate emotions, relax between classes, and connect in a warm, supportive way. We have seen the positive difference dogs can make in a school setting!

KA's 6th-grade Bilingual Spanish and Dance students visited the "Dancing with Life: Mexican Masks" exhibit at The Paine Art Center and Gardens.

The exhibit explored Mexico's rich festival culture and the artists and dancers behind these beautiful traditions. Students learned about authentic Mexican masks and danzas, created unique masks, and performed dances to showcase their creations.

The hands-on experience connected language, art, and movement!
