Looking to adopt a rat? Fyodor and Nikolai are cute, curious, and seeking a home!

These two are looking for either ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž homes or a family that is happy to have two separate set ups. While they came from the same home, they are not friends.

๐Ÿ€ 1 year old male fancy rats.
๐Ÿ€ While not social with other rats, they are comfortable for human handling.

Kitten season is still going strong, and we are in need of scales!

Our fosters need to weigh their foster kittens regularly to ensure they are gaining weight at an appropriate rate.

It can also help fosters catch potential issues before other symptoms develop so that we are able to provide support to kittens more quickly.

Remus is a sensitive soul seeking a gentle, loving family!

This 5.5 year old wooly husky came to FVHA as a local surrender.

๐Ÿช„Has previously lived with cats and dogs, we recommend slow introductions to any resident pets.
๐Ÿช„ Remus is currently feeling a bit sensitive to touch and handling, he is searching for a quiet, patient household where he can decompress and build trust at his own pace. He would do best in a home with older, respectful children.
๐Ÿช„ Is affectionate and will seek out attention and petting once comfortable.
๐Ÿช„Remus has a lot of coat and needs a guardian dedicated to ongoing coat care.

We are thankful for our amazing rescue partners!

In June we had a very pregnant stray rabbit come into our care. Mileena had her babies here at FVHA overnight.

We knew that these babies and their mom would thrive in a foster based rescue. We are beyond thankful that K&R Small Animal Sanctuary stepped up to take these cuties. Their extensive knowledge has set them up for the best success!

Thank you K&R for your help and support with our small animal program, it is invaluable to all of us at FVHA!

Last week FVHA got to host a cute sibling reunion!

Zoey and Dakota were both adopted from FVHA last year as puppies, and celebrated their first birthday by getting to see each other again.

They really have grown so much in the last year, and FVHA is proud to have been one of the first steps in their journey!

Chunky cat seeking adopter that can help him continue his weight loss journey!

Pepper is a charming, affectionate cat. All 19lbs of him!

๐ŸŒถ 6.5 year old neutered male.
๐ŸŒถ Our veterinary team has him on a strict, slow weight-loss plan. It is vital that his new family is fully committed to this process.
๐ŸŒถ Has previously peacefully co-existed with a dog and gets along well with kids.
๐ŸŒถ Pepper is incredibly laid back, and his adoptive family will need to find ways to encourage him to be more active.
