To the high school kid playing football on the beach in Kewaunee last Sunday night who was bugging me as I trudged with my tripod fully extended with camera attached and lugging a backback with sand up to my ankles..."Hey Mr." Mister! (How dare this kid!) He says to this sixty-six year old! I don't look...yah, yah...that ..."Are you taking any good pictures!?" He says...I'm thinking but not saying... Ya goofy high school boy...being a high school boy! How dare he ask a high school boy question...."I'm gonna try... if you let me." I shrugged" I had messed up. I misread the rising moon report and set up my camera almost a mile up the coast near the Kewaunee marina. I was rushing and loosing the light. He was a nice young man. Well mannered. Encouraging these dsys. I should be thankful that he has good parenting...I am.

He ran off back towrds his buddies...the Kewaunee varsity boys out on the beach on a early August eve . What a great slice of American apple pie.

The football season begins in earnest soon. Good luck fellas, I'll keep tabs.
