This past week we had the honor of dedicating our Maintenance Storage Warehouse, in memory of our coworker David.

👉 This lasting tribute is to honor the life and memory of David who brought kindness, a big smile and friendship to us all.

It is National Estate Planning Awareness Week!
“Over 68% of American adults lack an estate plan” – LegalZoom

Creating an estate plan brings peace of mind — and it's also a powerful way to shape your legacy and support the causes that matter most, like providing shelter, support and solutions to address the housing needs in our community with Pillars.

Here are some ideas to discuss with your financial planner👉

▪️A gift in your Will: Designate a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate to Pillars.
▪️Beneficiary Designations: Name Pillars as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(K), or life insurance policy.
▪️Charitable Trust: Create a trust that provides you with income, and supports our work later.

🍳 Breakfast at Pillars’ Adult Shelter is no small task!

Mornings can be busy, from waking clients up to preparing a hearty breakfast for 55 people and helping everyone get ready to start their day.

Recently, these two wonderful volunteers from St. Joseph Parish rolled up their sleeves, and jumped in to help with breakfast and kitchen duties. Our Pillars staff can’t thank them enough for lending a helping hand!

💪 There’s nothing stronger than a community that shows up for one another! These ladies brought the muscle, the helping hands, and the heart.

To ALL our volunteers: thank you for giving your time, sharing your talents, and making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. We couldn’t do what we do without you! ❤️
