In Wisconsin, 6,622 children were in foster care as of 2022, a number that has declined in recent years.

While this reflects progress, it also serves as a reminder that there are still children who need support, stability, and someone to advocate for their best interests.

A couple weeks ago we carved out an afternoon to slow down and connect in honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month. We shared treats, gifts, good conversation—and of course, plenty of pets from Samaria Comfort Dog🐾

Huge thanks to Samaria’s amazing team for sharing their time (and their very good pup!) with us. The calm, comfort & laughs they bring are truly something special.

And a BIG shout‑out to The Nest by for offering our advocates 10% off their wonderful goodies all through April—such a thoughtful way to show support.

Grateful for afternoons like this, and even more grateful for the volunteers and people who make our work possible. 💙
