Boys & Girls Clubs of Wisconsin has been selected as one of 10 Wisconsin nonprofits featured in Game Changing Players — a new community program created by the Green Bay Packers and Thrivent to highlight organizations strengthening their communities. 🫶

🏈During last Friday's Packer game, we were especially honored to have Evangelina, our local and state Youth of the Year winner, recognized for her journey and accomplishments. This was a special moment and her first time experiencing Lambeau!

This past Thursday, our Lead Agency team, which supports Boys & Girls Clubs across the state, was proud to host our fourth annual Be Great: Graduate Summit. This event brought together more than 40 dedicated team members representing over 20 Boys & Girls Clubs across Wisconsin. The Summit provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate successes, build connections, and look ahead to the year to come.

The Summit was a great example of the collaboration and commitment happening across our Clubs. By sharing experiences, challenges, and ideas, we continue to strengthen our work together and find new ways to support youth and help them be great and graduate!

Thank you to New York Life Insurance Company and our amazing New York Life agent, Cindi Ritcey Fox, Financial Adviser for the generous Community Impact Grant which supports Connections Grief Center. Together, we can continue to provide hope and healing for youth and families. From family nights, to peer support groups, and community outreach, we are proud to offer a safe place for children, teens and their families to find compassionate support, engage in commemorative activities, gain information about the grieving process, and express feelings and experiences in an accepting environment. Thank you to New York Life for investing in grief support and helping ensure that no child or family has to navigate grief alone.

At Club, we're all about providing kids with safe places to belong, full of fun and engaging opportunities to learn and grow, and caring adults who believe in them. Our Clubs support youth (ages 6-18 - varies by location) in Appleton, Neenah, Menasha, Little Chute, and Manitowoc. Daily meals/snacks are also provided.

From sports and recreation 🏀, fine arts 🎭, small group discussions 💬, leadership and community service 🤝, to STEM 🚀—and much, much more—there’s something for everyone to enjoy and explore this year! 🌟

Last month, members at our Menasha Club teamed up for a thrilling, high-energy volleyball showdown against staff. The competition was fierce, the rallies were intense, and the smiles were nonstop! 😄👏

Moments like these help build strong connections, create lasting memories, and remind us that a little friendly competition can go a long way. 💙💛

☀️🚌 This summer, Club members took home more than just souvenirs from their adventures. From exploring the wonders of the NEW Zoo 🦒, Planetarium 🌟, and Ledgeview Nature Center 🌿 to building confidence through roller skating 🛼 and bowling 🎳, youth created unforgettable memories, formed meaningful friendships 🤝, and discovered new interests along the way. While summer may be coming to a close, the laughter, experiences, and connections made will last long after the final bus ride. 💙✨

🐼❤️ Today we celebrated Panda Cares Day, a day dedicated to giving back and supporting local youth through kindness, opportunity, and community impact.

Thanks to the generosity of the Panda Cares Foundation, Club members at our Appleton Club enjoyed delicious Panda Express Orange Chicken lunches, received books to inspire learning 📚, and were excited to take home new headphones 🎧. Members at our Menasha Club also enjoyed a special lunch thanks to Panda's support. 🥡

We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership of the Panda Cares Foundation. Through their support, Club members have access to academic assistance, caring mentors, and enriching opportunities that help them build confidence, achieve their goals, and prepare for great futures. ✨

Girls at our Boys & Girls Clubs of Appleton and Neenah spent time exploring, creating, and discovering during our Girls STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Camp! 🔬🚀💡

Through hands-on experiences like a field trip to 1000 Islands Environmental Center🌿, rocket building 🚀, robotics 🤖, engineering challenges 🛠️, and a team-based environmental solutions project 🌎, participants are learning that they have the power to ask big questions ❓, solve real-world problems 💭, and turn ideas into action ✨.

STEM opportunities like these help youth build the confidence 💪 and curiosity 🔍 that fuel success in school 🎓, future careers 👩‍🔬👩‍💻👩‍🔧, and life, opening doors 🚪 to possibilities they may never have imagined. 🌟💙

The tornado that swept through the Fox Valley on July 27 was unlike anything our organization has experienced. As we witnessed the devastation facing so many families across our community, we knew we had to do everything we could to help.

Within 24 hours, our team mobilized to provide immediate support for those impacted by the tornado. We opened our Neenah Club to the community, offering free youth memberships, meals, water, and the Menasha Club also offered showers, clothing, health and hygiene supplies, family resource packets, and, perhaps most importantly, a safe place to find comfort, connection, and relief during an incredibly difficult time.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community. Businesses, organizations, and individuals quickly stepped forward with donations, volunteer support, and needed resources. A big thank you to Jewelers Mutual Group, Mercy Chefs, Miron Construction Co., Inc., Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, United Way Fox Cities, Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, ALDI USA, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Essity, CARE, St. Joseph Food Program, Fleet Feet, Shoe Station at Rogan's Oshkosh, Dunkin' Donuts, Honey Baked Ham, Luigi's Pizza, PF Chang's, McDonald's, Papa Murphys, Small Quality Boxes in Neenah, and everyone else who showed up at a critical time to support those in need.
