The students of Summer Shakespeare Theatre are back, alright! 🎭

Join us Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Appleton North High School (5000 N. Ballard Rd.) for a car wash fundraiser supporting our talented cast and crew as they prepare the pilot production of the high school edition of the hit Broadway musical & JULIET.

These incredible students have dedicated their summer to rehearsals, performances, and now fundraising—and they deserve a little applause (and maybe a few dirty cars to wash)!

What is this show everyone’s buzzing about?
& Juliet is a hilarious, heart-filled Broadway musical that reimagines the ending of Romeo & Juliet — asking the question: What if Juliet didn’t die?

Instead, she chooses HER path: more life, more love, more friendship, and more chances to become the hero of her own story.

Featuring iconic pop songs by Max Martin (yes — the mastermind behind Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, P!nk, Celine Dion, and more), this show has been called:

From Broadway to the Fox Valley, today's & Juliet connection was one our students will never forget. ✨

While the & Juliet Broadway tour is in Appleton this week, our Summer Shakespeare cast and crew had the incredible opportunity to meet and learn from Kathryn Allison, Jourdan Ibe, and Noah Marlowe.

As one of only three schools in the nation selected by MTI to pilot the high school edition of & Juliet, our students are part of something historic—and today's visit made it even more meaningful.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and encouraging the next generation of theatre artists. We can't wait to bring & Juliet to the Fox Valley this summer!

Your impact can be seen in generations of students who carry their love of theatre, music, art, and storytelling into the world. Legendary Theater Director, Ron Parker, has earned a well deserved retirement and leave behind a Theater program that he has turned into the best program in the state that includes an unheard of 27-consecutive CRITICS CHOICE Awards for North's One Act team! Awards aside, Mr. Parker's impact on young thespians in the Appleton Area will be his most lasting legacy! Congratulations Mr. Parker and thank you for all you have done!

Leah Dreyer has recently accepted the promotion to Theater Director after being a former Appleton North thespian and assisting Mr. Ron Parker for several years! In addition to the strong knowledge of current program , she is bringing new ideas and energy to the position she refers to as "her dream job"! Break a leg Ms. Dreyer!
