🌞 Hello Appleton! As summer kicks off and our downtown district buzzes with exciting events, we want to give you a friendly reminder about a city ordinance. 📢

According to Sec. 10-47 of our municipal code, animals are NOT allowed at special events in the Downtown District. 🚫🐾 This includes occasions like the Farmers Market 🥕, Flag Day Parade, License to Cruise 🚗, Octoberfest 🍺, Christmas Parade 🎄, and any day when a planned event closes off blocks within the Downtown District.

The ONLY exceptions are dogs specially trained to assist individuals with disabilities or animals aiding emergency personnel. 🚨🐕

Let's ensure the safety and enjoyment of all event attendees by leaving our furry friends at home during these special occasions. 🏠🐶💛

We also discuss common misconceptions about parking enforcement, how parking regulations help ensure fairness and turnover for businesses, and the technology improvements making parking easier than ever—including the Passport Parking app and new parking ramp kiosks. The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual water quality report the Safe Drinking Water Act requires community water systems to provide to their customers. Among other things, the report lists the regulated contaminants found in drinking water, as well as health effects information related to violations in the drinking water standards.
