In this episode of Appleton Engaged, we speak with Amanda Brown, Executive Director of Fox Cares Foundation, and Heather Wessley, Vice President of Community Impact for Fox Communities Credit Union. The conversation explores how the Fox Cares Foundation is helping build stronger communities throughout Northeast Wisconsin by investing in programs that address hunger, homelessness, and access to the arts.

Amanda and Heather share the story behind Fox Cares Foundation, which was established by Fox Communities Credit Union to expand its community impact through grantmaking, volunteerism, and fundraising. We discuss how the foundation partners with local nonprofits to support programs that provide essential resources, strengthen community connections, and create opportunities for people of all ages to thrive.

The conversation also highlights the foundation's unique approach to givingโ€”not just through financial support, but by building relationships and showing up alongside community organizations. From helping food pantries meet growing demand to supporting programs that connect generations through the arts, Fox Cares is focused on creating meaningful and lasting impact across the region.

โœ… About the Organization:

Through community events such as Bike to the Beat, its annual golf outing, and clay shoot fundraiser, Fox Cares Foundation brings people together while raising funds to support critical programs throughout the region.
