Important Updates For Graduating Seniors:

A few important reminders about events leading up to graduation:

1. If you have used your locker this year, you must have it cleaned out by the end of homeroom on 5/26.

2. Chromebook & Charger Collection: The collection will take place during all lunch hours on Tuesday, May 26, and again during Senior Breakfast on Wednesday, May 27.

3. Graduation Breakfast: Seniors need to arrive in the Commons around 7:55 am.

4. Graduation Rehearsal: All seniors are required to attend a mandatory graduation rehearsal immediately following breakfast. Students planning to participate in the ceremony must attend; otherwise, they must make arrangements in advance with our Principal, Mr. Nate Werner.

After breakfast, students should report to their Senior Graduation Homeroom. Early graduates and students in North-affiliated programs will be assigned a homeroom; details will be provided during breakfast. The rehearsal will conclude at approximately 10:20 am.

5. Senior Send-Off - Elementary Schools: Held at all North feeder elementary schools. Students may return to their elementary school for a senior send-off parade through the hallways and photo opportunities. Please show up promptly at 2:15 pm to ensure your participation in this fun event.

If you wish to participate in a senior walk-through at Sandy Slope Elementary, it will take place at 1:00 pm. Please consider this, as it will be a few years before Sandy Slope can establish this tradition, and we don’t want their students to feel left out.

6. Post Graduation Party! To celebrate this important milestone, we invite all graduating North seniors to attend the post-graduation celebration held in the Appleton North Commons. The festivities get underway at 9:30 pm and last until 12:15 am. All attendees will receive refreshments, entertainment, games, and prizes.

Earlier this year, Mrs. Abel and Miss Feuerhelm’s EmpowerED class earned 2nd place in a national popcorn contest! Using their prize winnings, the class celebrated the end of the year with a trip to the NEW Zoo. It was a wonderful day filled with friendship, fun, and the celebration of inclusion.

We are officially ONE WEEK away from graduation!

We are still collecting donations for the Post-Grad Party to help make it a safe, fun, and memorable night for our seniors. Gift cards, snacks, bottled water, prizes, and monetary donations are all appreciated.

It's been a monumental spring at Appleton North... and we're not done yet!
⚡⚾Coach Stratton and Coach Spencer have the Lightning ASL: Indoor Baseball team headed toward another perfect season! They have two big games on the road this week!
⚡💨The girls Trackletes won the Conference Relays for the second year in a row and are now eyeing a conference sweep tonight at Lawrence!
⚡⚾The Baseball teams has had some super high highs this season and looks to regain their form tomorrow when they host Oshkosh North! It's Youth Night and they will be playing as the Showstoppers so bring the fam out for the fun!
⚡🎾Lightning tennis came within one dual of a perfect conference record! They still have a shot at the conference championship when they hit Kimberly's courts on Thursday!
⚡🥎The Lightning Softball is sitting in the #2 spot in the conference, which is a feat in-aond-of itself considering where the program was just a few years ago! They finish the regular season this week at Home on Tuesday and at East on Thursday!
🍎🥍The United Boys has wrapped their regular season and now await their regional opponent next week at East!
⚡💨The Lightning Boys Trackletes also won the FVA relays (first sweep in school history!) and will try their hand at an overall conference title tonight at Lawrence!
⚡⛳The linksmen wrap up the regular season Wednesday at Chaska for the FVA championship, and then on to Regionals next week!
⚡🎼Bravo and Kudos to the music department for evenings of remarkable music and accomplishments! You can still catch the Orchestra, this Thursday at 7:30!
🍎🥍The United Girls team has had a fantastic season and will open tournament play at East next week with a shot at a deep run!
⚡⚽The Lightning footballers still have games to play as they sit in 2nd place in the conference! They Host East tomorrow!
⚡🏳️🏈The Lightning Flag Football team has been hard at work all year, and finally are back on the turf! We hosted girls flag football for the first time ever this month. The girls will once again participate in the Packer's invite this summer!

ShowStoppers!
The Lightning Softball team debuted their new Showstoppers uniforms last Saturday against D.C. Everest! Now, the baseball team will don their new threads tomorrow at home! Shirts and hats are always available for purchase as well!
