Happy First Day of School everybody!!!

It was so "cool" (no pun intended in this heat...) seeing all the families dropping off this morning, all the smiles on those little faces as they get to meet their classmates and get into the classrooms to kick off another year!

Our PTO Vice President, Rylee, made sure the teachers were well stocked in the lounge with all the energy they will need to keep moving through this heat!! Drinks in the fridge, ice in the freezer, and plenty of sugar to keep the energy levels up!!

We do have a PTO meeting coming up next week, September 10th. If you are looking for ways to be a more active, involved parent and hear what's going on around the school, we'd love to hear from you!

💙💛🐾Welcome back McKinley staff!!💙💛🐾

We welcomed our amazing staff back this morning with some Coffee and Donuts to kick off the new school year! We need these teachers, and these teachers need their coffee!

There's something uniquely special about a school year. While every workplace sets apart fiscal years, educators have the opportunity to fully close one chapter, step away for the summer, and return with a new staff, new changes, new classes, and new energy. It was so exciting seeing them all reunite after their summer, energized and ready to tackle the next school year!

☀️ HAPPY SUMMER! ☀️

As we close out the school year, we just want to say THANK YOU to all of you for your support throughout this past school year. With your help, we raised almost $4,500 from our restaurant nights! 🤩 This will go a long ways in helping with field trips, hosting our fun events and supporting the school and teacher’s in various ways. We also could not have hosted all of our fun events without all of our volunteers, thank you so much! 🙌

We also have some exciting news to share… beginning next year, McKinley PTA will become McKinley PTO! Many of our events and things will stay the same but there will be some exciting changes as well! We can’t wait to share this with all of you!
