Old.Store Loving our neighbors as ourselves... The Old.Store is located in the former J.D. Howell's family - namely, Mr. Walter Morris (son-in-law), and Mr.

Howell General Store which was built in 1924 and was operated continuously until the early 1990's by members of Mr. Johnny Morris (grandson). At one time, you could buy just about anything you needed at Howell's store. Today the Old Store is once again a gathering place for Appling and the surrounding area. Our Story

The Old.Store is located in the former J.D. At one time, you could buy just about anything you needed at Howell's store. Today the Old Store is once again a gathering place for Appling and the surrounding area. The Appling Archers, Kiokee Kruiser’s, Kiokee Kookers and Appling Woodworker’s are headquartered at the Old Store. Events include the Male Sale fundraiser, the annual Appling Archers Bow Festival, and the Kiokee Kruiser's Cruise-Ins. All are welcome and families are encouraged to attend the events.
