Our Law Enforcement Explorers had an excellent training session working on building clearing techniques at the Sheriff's Office shoot house. These young men and women are interested in careers in law enforcement and they train hard to develop the skills needed for the job. They learned a great deal during the exercise, worked hard as a team, and had a fun productive evening. We are so proud of them!

On Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Today, we especially remember two of our own:

WESLEY MACK - E.O.W. 07/12/04
BRANDON SIKES - E.O.W. 04/26/25

These dedicated officers gave their lives in service to others, demonstrating extraordinary courage, commitment, and selflessness. Their legacy lives on through their unwavering dedication to protecting our community and through the countless lives they touched.

We will never forget their sacrifice, and we remain forever grateful for their service.
