🚨 In Case You Missed It 🚨

The Supreme Court of Virginia has denied a request to certify the recent redistricting referendum.

A lower court previously ruled the referendum unconstitutional, preventing the results from moving forward for now. The Attorney General’s attempt to pause that ruling was rejected.

📅 The State Board of Elections is set to meet Friday, May 1.
⚖️ The full case will be heard at a later date.

Stay informed. This decision could have a major impact on Virginia’s congressional maps.

BREAKING: A Republican-appointed Virginia judge has struck down the Democratic-backed redistricting amendment in full, ruling it unconstitutional and “void from the start.”

All votes from the April 21 special election are now invalid, and the state is permanently blocked from using or implementing the new maps.

AG Jay Jones says he will immediately file an appeal.

As you know the "UNCONSTITUTIONAL" redistricting referendum passed.

But we must stay encouraged. Even when things don’t go the way we hoped… we don’t stop.

Virginia has been built by the people who show up, not just on Election Day, but every single day after.

This is about staying engaged.
This is about having a voice.
This is about working together to shape the future of Appomattox and the entire Commonwealth!

We still have work to do. In fact, our state legislators have returned to Richmond today for the reconvene.
