Thanks to everyone who joined us for our holiday celebration last night! Our Lions and LEOs, family and friends from near and far, and homemade desserts from many were a hit!🎄🍰🍭🎉

Shoutout to Santa for making an appearance to make it a jolly night. And the volunteer team for making the magic happen ✨ and to our President jD for leading the charge! You Roar!

On behalf of Cabrillo Host, thank you for making our 1st Dining in the Dark fundraiser an unforgettable evening in honor of Helen Keller’s legacy.
To our guests, and 4 other Lions Clubs, your presence and generosity lit up the evening—your willingness to step into an experience of blindness helped foster greater empathy and awareness, and your support will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

To our speakers, your insights, stories, and words of encouragement moved us all. You reminded us of the power of resilience, inclusion, and advocacy—values that Helen Keller herself championed so fiercely.

To our incredible LEOs of Aptos High and behind-the-scenes helpers, thank you for your hard work, attention to detail, and compassion. Whether guiding guests, or assisting with setup and cleanup, your efforts were essential to the event’s success.
Thanks to each and every one of you and for Lion Chickie Lam for her awesome cupcakes! We look forward to staying connected and continuing this journey together.
