We are hoping to continue this tradition each year to make this a very special week for the FIRST responders that are behind the scenes, The "Calm in the Chaos!", the "Voice You Never See!", “The Thin Gold line”.
Throughout the week of April 13th-19th, 2025, we will be honoring and thanking those invisible 911 telecommunicators who continue to serve our community in this demanding profession.
Please consider “Adopting a Shift”. This will be a special way to show them just how much you appreciate the work they do 24/7 - 365 days per year.
We have 4 shifts at Marshall County 911:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday DAY
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday NIGHT

Dispatchers are fiercely independent and mission focused, but they make a heck of a team. They show up, rain or shine, blizzards, fires, natural disasters, shootings, you name it. They go from call to call, seamlessly switching up their style to accommodate the situation.
Our Dispatchers are an incredible group of individuals dedicated to serving Marshall County. They have our appreciation and admiration every day of the year that they arrive at work, plug in, put the headset on, and confidently answer, “9-1-1, what is the address of the emergency?” They are true heroes, the first of the first responders!

Friday 4Apr2025 -
Low to medium chances of severe storms are forecast Saturday evening through Sunday morning (especially for NW AL, north-central AL, and southern middle TN).

These storms will bring the potential for damaging winds, hail, tornadoes, and heavy rain/flooding.

Make sure to have a safety plan - know where your safe place is and emergency kit ready before the storms hit!

Always have multiple ways to receive warning information (especially ones that will wake you up at night)!
