This week Arab Fire Dept was able to host the Alabama Fire College mobile burn trailer. Training was conducted on search and rescue and suppression. We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend training.

AFD responded to an apartment fire at Brandywine Apartments at approximately 11:20am. On arrival there was heavy smoke visible from a second floor apartment. Mutual aid was provided by 4-C VFD, Ruth VFD, Guntersville Fire/Rescue, Marshall EMS, Arab PD and Arab Electric Co-op. There was no reported injuries from the fire.
