Calling all future veterinarians, animal lovers, and farm explorers! Our 3 days of fun at Urban Ranchers Day Camp is for you !

Together with Arapahoe County Government, this fun and interactive day camp is filled with all types of activities. From June 9th through the 11th, kids will experience what life on the farm is like. They will learn about agriculture, livestock, animal care, husbandry.

Camp hours: 8am-12pm daily
Starts June 9-11
Arapahoe County Fairgrounds

**Please Note: Camp includes learning about livestock care, veterinary practices, animal reproduction, and the role animals play in the food chain. Families should make sure campers are comfortable with these topics before registering.

A 4-session program for families, caregivers, and guardians with children 6 and up that want to explore the connections between nature, health, family, and well-being.

Participants will gain skills to guide kids in their outdoor learning using scientific inquiry, managing risk, modeling exploration, and sharing their own childhood memories in nature.

May 30th, June 6, June 13, & June 20, 9 AM – 11 AM
Starting at Cherry Creek Ecological Park and ending at 17 Mile House.

Visit with Arapahoe County Government members and CSU Extension Master Gardeners and horticulturists to learn about bee-friendly gardening, supporting pollinators, and the Native Bee Watch program. The farm’s beekeeper will also be onsite with a demo hive.

If you’ve ever wondered how everything stays on track behind the scenes, Kathy is one of the key people making it happen. She partners closely with CSU Extension Arapahoe County staff and the Fair Planning Committee to ensure 4-H events and Public Competitions run smoothly year after year.
