You're invite you to join the 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census on August 21ā22, 2026.
Whether this is your first year participating or you're introducing someone new to the project, your observations make a valuable contribution to this regional citizen science effort.
Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Choose a flowering area
2. Spend 15 minutes observing and counting pollinators
3. Submit your results.
Every countāwhether from a backyard garden, school campus, community garden, park, farm, or business landscapeāhelps build a better understanding of pollinator populations across the Southeast.
We encourage you to share these resources with friends, family, schools, community groups, Master Gardeners, 4-H clubs, FFA chapters, garden clubs, libraries, local businesses, and other organizations. The more people who participate, the more meaningful our data becomes.
Our goal this year is to have all 67 Florida counties represented and more than 10,000 pollinator counts collected. Together, we can inspire curiosity, increase awareness of pollinators' importance, and generate valuable data that supports research and conservation efforts.
