17th Annual UF IFAS Range Cattle Research and Education Center Youth Field Day! Only 29 spaces remain! Pre-registration for this event is required - registration ends June 9th. Call soon if you'd like to register!
The Youth Field Day will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
- check-in opens at 7:30 a.m.
- learning expo will be open, 8 โ 10 a.m.
- students in their predetermined groups will rotate through 5, 25-minute classes and a lunch break, from 10:10 a.m. to 1:20 p.m.
- closing assemble to announce the 2027 t-shirt design contest winner and our blackout bingo prize drawing, 1:30 -2:00 p.m.
WHERE: 3401 Experiment Station, Ona, FL 33865
Our goal is to excite students about agriculture and science, reveal future opportunities in those fields, and foster a love of learning which will promote agriculture and good stewardship in this and future generations.
Who can attend? Students ages 8 - 18 attending with their parent, guardian, or youth leader.
Benefit: Students who visit all of the learning expo booths and complete all our field day classes will receive a Youth Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certificate. Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) is a program that provides information to U.S. beef producers on how good husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management conditions.
