The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Red Flag
Warning which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CST
this evening.

* TIMING...From 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CST this evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 24 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Up to 63.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CST THIS EVENING FOR EXTREME GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER FOR SOUTHEAST KANSAS

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Red Flag
Warning for extreme grassland fire danger, which is in effect
from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM CST this evening.

* Extreme Grassland Fire Danger...

* Winds...Northwest 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Relative Humidity...Between 20 and 30 percent

* Impacts...Any fires that start will spread rapidly and be
difficult to control.

There is a very high fire danger for Thursday December 18th.

Steady winds over 15mph, with gusts over 40mph are expected along with a low humidity resulting in abnormally high fire dangers.

There should be NO BURNING!

If you see smoke/fire tomorrow please call 911 and report it so firefighters can have a chance to stop the fire before it gets to large.
