Bienville Parish Library The BIENVILLE PARISH LIBRARY is a public library that serves the people of Bienville Parish, Louisiana and surrounding areas.

The Bienville Parish Library is a public library that has been serving the people of Bienville Parish, Louisiana, since 1964. The Main Library, located in Arcadia, is home to the system's Administrative Offices, Technical & Computer Services, Interlibrary Loan, Children's Services, and Outreach Services. It also houses the system's Genealogy Collection. The Library also operates full-time branches in Ringgold and Saline, and a part-time branch in Castor and Gibsland.

ALL BRANCHES OF THE BIENVILLE PARISH LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, JUNE 19, IN OBSERVANCE OF JUNETEENTH. (open for regular Saturday hours 8:15am to Noon)

Juneteenth is increasingly observed as a "Day of Service." Communities across the United States honor the holiday by volunteering to address local needs, supporting Black-owned businesses, and participating in civic and beautification projects.

Check with local organizations hosting community garden clean-up projects (Shreveport Green Urban Farm).

Volunteer at or donate to regional organizations fighting food insecurity, like the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana

Connect with local community action networks, and the NAACP to see where community service, voter registration, and educational efforts need support.

GUESS WHAT? JIM TINDALL IS COMING TO THE BIENVILLE PARISH LIBRARY IN ARCADIA!!!! 3 ADULT CLASSES AND 1 CHILDREN'S CLASS. Here's the paintings slated for each of the classes! Monday - Lovely Landscape! Tuesday (Children's) Cute red fox! the Adults will be painting a Peacock! Then the Wednesday Adult class - A stylized magnolia! Contact the Main Library at 318-263-7410 to reserve your spot! Class size is limited and fills quickly! Parents/Guardians MUST stay with their children during the scheduled Children's painting class. There will be a reserve list for each class, and you'll be contacted if a spot opens. SEE YOU AT THE LIBRARY!!!!
