Library News
Hello again; it's been a while, partly due to my lack of gracefulness, and partly because I just haven't gotten around to writing an article; sorry.
As most of you realized, we aren't having a Summer Reading Program. Instead we are going to offer a rewards program. We will have four age groups, (preschool, kindergarten, and first grade),(second, third, and fourth), (fifth and sixth), and (seventh and eighth). For each book you read from now on until the end of July your name goes in a drawing. At the end of July, we will draw a winner from each age group, who will receive a $25 gift certificate. Be sure to read your books; there may be questions.
We have had a number of donations, which has allowed me to purchase a number of new books. We also had a number of books donated the past three months. Please stop by and check out the new additions.
I have pulled a number of duplicate books off the shelves. So, before sending these books on to another library we will be offering them for sale at extremely low prices. There is a large variety of books, some for all ages and interests.
We have a new OPEN sign; it's in the window to the north of the door. It's a little bigger and brighter. Hopefully it will be a little easier to see. I just have to turn it on; so far so good,
Think that about covers everything. Hope everyone is having a great summer.. Have fun and stay safe.
