The Village of Arcanum is accepting applications for a Full-Time Laborer in the Street Department.

Pay: $18.47–$21.04 per hour (based on experience)

Qualifications:
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Valid Ohio driver's license
✔ Class B CDL endorsement (or ability to obtain within one year of employment)

At the Arcanum Community Pool, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone.

We would like to remind our patrons that service animals are welcome at the pool when accompanying an individual with a disability, as protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are not pets—they are highly trained working animals that perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities.

Recently, we became aware of an incident with comments directed toward a guest regarding their service animal. We want to remind everyone that harassing, questioning, or making negative remarks—whether directly or indirectly—toward someone because they have a disability or use a service animal is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of our community.

We ask everyone to treat one another with kindness, courtesy, and respect. Not all disabilities are visible, and every guest deserves to enjoy our community pool without feeling uncomfortable, judged, or unwelcome.

We look forward to this service dog and their handlers next visit to the pool.

Thank you to the many patrons who help make the Arcanum Community Pool a place where everyone can have a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming summer.
