🎄✨ Help Us Spread the Holiday Cheer! ✨🎄

We invite residents, businesses, and community organizations to join in celebrating Archbald's festive holiday motorcade on Saturday, November 21st! 🚗 🎅🏼

The celebration will continue with a community Christmas tree lighting, chili cook-off, holiday cookie competition, and fun activities for the whole family!

Archbald Borough will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026 in observance of Columbus Day. Monday and Tuesday recycling will be collected Tuesday. There is no change in the garbage schedule.

A stormwater improvement project is beginning in the Lower Hills of Archbald (Maria Blvd, White Birch, Deer Run, etc.) Traffic will be reduced to one lane at times. Please be mindful and cautious when moving through this area of Archbald.

The Archbald Planning Commission has a vacancy for two full members, and one alternate member. The Planning Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm. If you are interested in serving on the Planning Commission, please send a letter of interest and brief resume to the Borough Manager at [email protected]. You must be an Archbald resident to be considered for appointment to the Planning Commission by Borough Council.

The Archbald Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB) has a vacancy for an alternate member. The ZHB meets as needed, and each meeting is publicly advertised. If a Zoning Application is denied by the Zoning Officer, a property owner may appeal with the ZHB. The ZHB also hears items requriing a variance or special exception as determined by the Archbald Zoning Ordinance. If you are interested in serving on the ZHB, please send a letter of interest to the Borough Manager at [email protected]. You must be an Archbald resident to be considered for appointment to the ZHB by Borough Council.
