Archbald Pothole - World's Largest Glacial Pothole! The pothole is 38 feet deep and has an elliptical shape. The diameter decreases downward. The largest is 42 feet by 24 feet.

A big, natural, ancient hole in the middle of a parking lot - culturally kind of goofy (and some might say emblematic of NEPA), but scientifically it's definitely cool! "Archbald Pothole State Park is a 150-acre park in northeastern Pennsylvania named for a geologic feature that formed during the Wisconsin Glacial Period, around 15,000 years ago. At the bottom it is 17 feet by 14 feet. Its volume
