**Trauma doesn’t always look like trauma.**

Sometimes it looks like anger. Sadness. Withdrawal. Defiance. Or behaviors we don’t understand.

The Northwest Ohio Resilient Youth (NORY) Project provides "Building Resiliency with Youth," a trauma-informed training that helps us look beyond behavior to better understand what young people may be experiencing—and learn how we can respond with greater understanding, support, and compassion. 💙

While this training focuses on youth and young adults ages 10–24, the practical tools and insight can help people of all ages.

Join us for our 6th Annual Su***de Prevention Breakfast on September 10th, where the NORY Project will be part of the morning! This training will be provided by all 4 of our area health departments for everyone in attendance.

That’s why we’re sharing the Farmer Mental Health Resilience Program from Rural Minds. It’s a free resource created specifically for farmers, farm families, and rural communities, offering practical tools, education and support.

The Jim McCartney Memorial Roping Competition was held in Swanton on May 30, 2026. Funds were raised throughout the day and recently the Jim McCartney Memorial Roping LLC presented a check to the Four County Su***de Prevention Coalition in honor and memory of Jim.
