What an incredible day it was celebrating the Grand Opening of the Veteran Business Plaza!
Friday was about much more than opening a new business location—it was about honoring the service, sacrifice, and continued impact of our local veterans. The Veteran Business Plaza represents the strength, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit that help make our community so special.
We are proud to welcome three outstanding veteran-owned businesses that each play an important role in serving the Archdale-Trinity area and beyond.
🔑 Blue Falcon Lock & Key provides dependable locksmith and automotive key services, offering peace of mind and expertise when people need it most.
💪 Thrive Movement & Speech is changing lives through personalized therapy, adaptive fitness, and wellness services that empower individuals and families throughout our region.
🏠 Honeycutt Home Improvements continues to improve homes and strengthen our community through quality craftsmanship, trusted service, and a commitment to excellence.
These businesses are more than companies—they are local employers, community supporters, and examples of veterans continuing to serve after their military careers have ended.
A special thank you to Rita Honeycutt, North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Regional Manager, whose dedication to supporting veterans in our community helped bring this vision to life. We also extend our appreciation to King’s Barbeque for providing a wonderful meal and to Mike Fenley, representing Senator Thom Tillis, and Daniel Dorociak, representing Congressman Richard Hudson, for joining us in recognizing this important milestone.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and showed your support. Your presence helped make this a meaningful celebration of the veterans, business owners, and community leaders who continue to make Archdale a great place to live, work, and do business.
