Our annual Police vs. Fire showdown is moving from the softball field to the basketball court for the 5th Annual Battle of the Badges! Join us Saturday, October 3 at 7PM as Archdale Police takes on Guil-Rand Fire Department!

🚒 NEW TO US! | ENGINE 411 PUSH-IN CEREMONY 🚒

Guil-Rand Fire Department is proud to welcome Engine 411 to Station 41!

Join us as we officially place this apparatus in service with a traditional Push-In Ceremony. This is a special opportunity for our members, families, and community to come together and celebrate this addition to the Guil-Rand Fire Department fleet.

These two friendly pups were brought to us today and unfortunately do not have tags on their collar and were not chipped according to Archdale PD. They are currently being transported to Randolph County Animal Services by Archdale PD where they may be picked up by the owner who provides proof of ownership.

On Thursday our Campers enjoyed one of the highlights of the week. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Aircare brought the helicopter to the fire station for the campers to see! They got to see the helicopter approach and land, then the crew taught them about the jobs each of them had on the helicopter. They got to explore all the cool stuff inside and was able to watch them take off! Thank you Atrium HealthWake Forest Baptist Aircare!!!

Fire Camp has been in full swing this week! We're thrilled to have had the N.C. Forestry Service and Randolph County EMS join us to give our campers a behind-the-scenes look at the diverse aspects of emergency response. From learning about wildfire prevention to understanding the critical role of EMS in emergency situations, our campers have been fully immersed in the world of firefighting and emergency response. We want to extend a huge thank you to our special guests for sharing their expertise and passion with us! We have a couple of days left, and we're making the most of every minute, creating unforgettable memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. The energy is electric, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store! 🚒🔥
