During National Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, I want to recognize the outstanding deputies I have the honor of serving alongside every day. They are some of the best around, and I could not do this job without them.

They work hard, care about this community, and are always there when people need help most. I am proud of each one of them and thankful for the sacrifices they make every day.

Happy National Law Enforcement Appreciation Week to my group and to the many other agencies that are always there to help when needed. I appreciate all of you.

Thank you to Snookies for your kindness and support of our deputies.

Last night, our deputies had to leave their dinner to respond to a pursuit. The owner of Snookies went out of their way to bring their meals to them once the scene was cleared so they wouldn’t go without. That kind of thoughtfulness and community spirit does not go unnoticed. It’s a true example of what makes our community strong.

From all of us at the Sheriff’s Office, thank you, Snookies, for your generosity and support of law enforcement. We appreciate you.

This week we recognize our dispatchers.

I know the job they do isn’t easy. They hear it all and still show up ready to take the next call. They are a critical part of this office and a big reason we’re able to do what we do.

Every one of our dispatchers also serves as a jailer, and that’s no small task. It speaks to their dedication, work ethic, and the level they step up for this office every day.

They are a big part of our blue family, and I’m proud of this group and all they do for Archer County.

Today was an important step for law enforcement in our region.

I was honored to join fellow Sheriffs at the first North Central Texas Sheriff’s Coalition meeting. This coalition is focused on building stronger partnerships between our counties, improving communication, and making sure we’re working together to better serve and protect our communities.

Archer County is proud to have a seat at the table.

Great getting to meet Chief Bradley Taylor and visit for a bit.

Had a wonderful evening hanging out with these guys from the Archer County Sheriff’s Department!!! Just goes to show how small the world really is in this line of work. Always good to connect with great people doing the same job!!!
