Maybe it would be to take the back roads. Talk to the locals. Stop somewhere interesting. Leave a little room in the schedule for something you didn’t plan.

Those are often the moments that make a trip worth remembering.

On the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are celebrating the next generation of Arcola.

Nearly half of the students in the Arcola School District are Hispanic. These students are growing up, learning, and building their futures right here in our community. They are an important part of Arcola today and will help shape our community for years to come.
