Association of Metropolitan School Districts (AMSD)

Association of Metropolitan School Districts (AMSD) The Association of Metropolitan School Districts represents over 50 K-12 school districts & intermediate/cooperative districts.

AMSD districts enroll over half MN’s public school students, with the mission to lead the transformation of public education. AMSD member school districts face challenges that differ from those of districts elsewhere in the state. AMSD's members include both urban, suburban and regional center school districts that collectively enroll more than half of the state’s public school students. AMSD is a

strong voice for public education both at the Legislature and in the media, with a proactive agenda and a commitment to action.

Sen. Mary Kunesh (DFL-New Brighton) and Rep. Spencer Igo (R-Grand Rapids) joined representatives of the state’s educators, school boards, and administrators from across Minnesota to officially kick off our campaign to pass the PSF constitutional amendment — a simple change that would distribute more money to each of Minnesota's public schools — WITHOUT RAISING YOUR TAXES. But you have to “VOTE YES!”
