Meet Our New Staff: Katherine Grainger 💙💛

We are excited to welcome Katherine Grainger to the RAM Family! Mrs. Grainger will be teaching CTE Computer Discoveries I & II this year.

Katherine grew up as a Navy brat before her family settled in Asheville while she was in high school. She attended T.C. Roberson High School and has called this area home since 2000. She also brings experience from both Estes and Glen Arden Elementary Schools.

Outside of school, Katherine enjoys Burn Bootcamp, road biking, and mountain biking. Her favorite movie is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Her advice for middle school students is one we can all appreciate: Don’t change who you are just to fit in. Your real friends will love you for exactly who you are. ❤️

And when asked why she is excited to join Valley Springs, Katherine said it best: “Once a Ram, always a Ram!” She is excited to share her love of technology with students and focus on computer science this year.
