THANK YOU SHOUT OUT
There are so many wonderful people to thank, but today we want to recognize Rob Stigler, who has volunteered coaching the Arden Sharks for the past five years.
Rob’s commitment goes far beyond practices and meets. He does so much more behind the scenes to support our swimmers. He makes every child feel special and seen, builds on their strengths, and encourages them to work on their weaknesses in a safe and supportive environment.
New kids join the Sharks nervous and unsure. They leave more confident, stronger, more independent, and surrounded by friends. That’s the magic of swim team — and Rob is a huge part of it.
Rob also has a knack for bringing people together and making the pool more fun. Last year, he started our Mario Kart tournament, and it was a hit! The kids (and adults) were asking all summer when it was going to be and again it was a smash success! It’s just one more example of the fun and community he brings to Arden.
This year we got to see another side of Rob as his daughter, Renee, at the age of only 3 years old, joined the Sharks. We’ve loved having her become part of the team — and we’ve especially loved watching Rob be a dad on the pool deck. Those moments have been pretty special to watch.
His impact doesn’t stop with the Sharks. Rob has also helped bring new life to the pool through projects like the new boys’ changing rooms, playground, tables and so much more. If Rob hears that something needs to be done, he’s always willing to help.
Thank you, Rob, for everything you give to our kids, our pool, and our community. We are so lucky to have you!
