Many thanks to Frances Coates for visiting our club meeting. Frances is the executive director of The McCune Center, an adult care home owned and operated by the Lions of Western North Carolina.

Christmas tree sales start this Friday afternoon! We will be setup just south of Dairy Queen on Hendersonville Road in Arden. Across from Denny's Pawn Shop.

At tonight's meeting, Lion Ruth Haines talks about her week at Camp Dogwood this summer.
Camp Dogwood is a recreational retreat for the Blind & Visually Impaired that provides a wonderful and therapeutic vacation for persons with blindness and visual impairment.
Ruth had much to share about the recent improvements and reconstruction at the camp.
