We have pushed our families to do hard things this week! And this includes a night training to experience what it is like to search for victims in the dark and cold 🥶. Flint Creek is spring fed so it’s toasty warm! Everyone did great even if we lost some sleep 😴!

Whether it’s diving down and working on a task (as in gaining access to a vehicle 🚗), remaining calm during an entanglement drill, playing “underwater rugby 🏉” or a timed breath hold in 39F water—this group of families did a fantastic job today tackling hard things!!

There’s a reason they call it the “gas ⛽️ station”! The object is to go down and hold onto the bottom until someone comes to relieve you. Great breath holding exercise!

First day of our family training camp and it has been a blast to see everyone grow and push their limits to reach tough goals!! We have a great crew of families this year and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

We are super excited to be in NorthWest Arkansas getting ready to start our 3rd annual Family Rescue Conference! Families from all across the nation have come together to learn valuable water safety skills and grow spiritually during this next week! Super thankful to Ozark Adventist Academy for opening their campus as a place to base from for the week! If you didn’t make it this year join us next year!! (Location TBD but likely Ardmore, OK)
