BOIL WATER ADVISORY FOR VILLAGE OF ARGYLE!!!!

This update has been superseded on 6/1 @ Noon to state that the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.
Given how Facebook displays content based on engagement not chronological order, please see that update for the most up to date information.

⚠️ATTENTION VILLAGE OF ARGYLE RESIDENTS⚠️
A Boil Water Advisory is being issued due to a main break and loss of pressure in the water system on May 29, 2026.
Most residents should have their water restored, however some customers will not have water until the main is repaired.
Once water is restored, please boil your water for 1 minute before using it to cook, drink, or brush teeth. In most situations water is safe to use if not ingested for things such as washing clothes and showering.
This notice will likely be in effect for 48 hours, however it may be longer. The Village will notify residents when the advisory is lifted.

We at Argyle EMS would like to Congratulate GCEMS Cheif Dan Nufer on his retirement. Nufer has been an instrumental part of advanced care for our area responding to hundreds of intercept calls for Argyle in his time. His dedication, knowledge, and willingness to teach has made us better as a service. Thank you, Nufer, and enjoy your more-than well earned retirement. We cannot thank you enough for what you have done for us.

As National Public Safety Telecommunications week comes to an end, we would like to thank the dispatchers of the Green County Sheriff's Offce and Lafayette County Sheriff's Office for being the voices behind the radio. From their calm, professional demeanor guiding us to those in need (and occassional startling us awake at night), they answer the call before we do. They are part of the crucial first link in the Chain of Survival, and without them we would not be as effective at what we do.

From all of us at Argyle EMS, thank you for what you do!

Happy New Year to all. We would like to thank all of our volunteers for all the work they do. From Argyle to Woodford and Wiota, and to Adams and Jordan townships in Green County, we have responded to 175 calls in 2025, just 10 short of our highest year total.

Thank you for all the work and training you have done. And thank you for the support from the communities! We look forward to serving you in 2026 and beyond.
