We had so much fun bringing another Operation Copsicle to our community. We got to make a few new young friends and even had the chance to drop in on some of our Argyle Independent School District teachers and staff as they prepared their schools for next week.

Though the temperature rose above 100°, we beat the heat with some sweet treats.

With Argyle Independent School District students headed back to school next week, we thought we'd help close out their summer break with some cold refreshment.

This upcoming Friday, be on the lookout for our officers who will be passing out popsicles to the kids (and adults, we love you too) as part of this year's .

UPDATE: 11:05am…all crossings are now open

***Traffic Alert*** 8/3/2026 10:20am

The railroad intersections of 377/Harpole, 377/Old Justin Road, and 377/Crawford Road are currently closed due to a train stopped on the tracks.

The railroad has been notified and estimates that this closure will last approximately 45 minutes due to an issue with the tracks.

The crossings at 377/FM 407 and 377/Frenchtown remain open.

We will update as soon as the crossings are cleared.

Thank you so much to the Knights of Columbus group from St. Mark Denton for again hosting us for a police appreciation dinner last night.

The Babe's Chicken Dinner House was delicious and we certainly felt the love.

As we kicked off a week of inter-agency training today at The Well church, we were treated to breakfast by Dan’s Bagels of Argyle.

These bagels were delicious and, if you haven't visited them already, we highly encourage you to try them for yourself. They are located right next to the Shell station at 377/Frenchtown.
