We are heartbroken over the loss of Josh. He was a dedicated, trusted and hard-working employee of the Ariton Water Works and Sewer department. He left a positive impression on those he worked with and will truly be missed! Please keep his coworkers, friends and especially his children and family in your prayers.

Thank you to everyone who made the America 250 celebration a huge success! The Mayor, Town Council, Clerk, volunteers, Ariton Fire & Rescue, Dale County Sheriff Office, the America 250 American Village organization that graciously provided a grant to offset the expense, all of the vendors and retail establishments, everyone who participated and our great community who came out and attended!

It was a great event with a tremendous turnout!

We look forward to planning our next event soon.
