Thursday's 6th grade awards ceremony was bittersweet as we said farewell to a Goza Legend, Mr. Jeremy Smith. For 28 years he has dedicated himself to not only teaching mathematics, but being a major influencer on the lives of many children who walked the halls of Goza Middle School. Today, we say thank for your hard work and dedication to our family. You are truly a Goza Great!❤️🦡💙

The end of the school year is near and it is time to celebrate! We know you want to get an early start to Summer. Grade verification takes time, and our 7th grade students have a field trip scheduled for May 20th, hence the split schedule.

Students will be recognized for honor roll and their achievement on this year's ATLAS Summative. New this year is a Student Choice Award known as the Goza Great.

We encourage as many parents as possible to attend this event. It means a lot to our students.❤️🦡💙

Goza students showed up for testing in a big way this year! This could not have happened without the help of our amazing Goza parents. In appreciation for their attendance, Ms. Miller with the help of Goza PATHS (Parents and Teachers Helping Students) collected 4 gift cards that were given away today during each grade level's lunch.

And the winners are:
5th grade: Genesis G.
6th grade: Jett Jones
7th grade: Parker Pope
8th grade: Micah Almand

A special thanks to Beene's Towing & Recovery, LLC , Group Living Inc., JavaPrimo Coffee House, Cafe & More - Arkadelphia, and Kiwanis of Clark County for their gift card donations.❤️🦡💙

Goza Parents! We had another great day of attendance for the math test today. Eighth grade had 99% of its students present. There are only 16 students who have to make up tests.

Students will take the science test tomorrow. Let's "Level Up!" ❤️🦡💙

Attendance for testing today was much better than yesterday. Thank you parents for getting your kids to school and making sure they are well rested. This also helps reduce the number of make-ups for our test coordinator to complete.

Let's keep it going for the math test on tomorrow!❤️🦡💙
