Big news from our Future Business Leaders!

Students from Arkadelphia High School and Goza Middle School recently represented our community on the national stage at the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas!

The Arkadelphia High School FBLA chapter earned national recognition as a Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit recipient and placed 4th in the nation as a National Gold Champion Chapter out of nearly 1,300 participating chapters.

Congratulations to students Brylee Russey, Raena Wheeler, Tiana Berry, and Giselle Marroquin for showcasing their leadership, public speaking, and business skills, and to advisers Ashley Wesley and LaKesha Berry for guiding these future leaders.

Great News! Gurdon Public Schools was recently featured in Hardwood Matters magazine, a national publication by the National Hardwood Lumber Association!

The article highlighted Go-Devils students following their educational tour of the National Hardwood Academy.

During the hands-on visit, students got an inside look at the hardwood lumber industry, workforce opportunities, and specialized training pathways. By the end of the tour, several students expressed serious interest in pursuing future careers through the Academy’s prestigious Inspector Training School!
