Arkadelphia Housing Authority receives Chamber Community Beautification Award

The Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce Board has awarded Arkadelphia Housing Authority its Community Beautification Award due to the upgrades made at its apartment complexes. The board is recognizing businesses quarterly that have improved the exterior facade of a visible building within the community.

“As part of a growing community, having quality public housing is so important. The Arkadelphia Housing Authority has done a great job updating their facilities. We are grateful for the staff’s commitment to Arkadelphia,” said Shelley Loe, executive vice president for the Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce.

“We appreciate the efforts put forth by Sheila Hunter and her staff to spruce up the look of many of its apartments. Since the housing facilities are so visible in our community, it’s encouraging to see the Arkadelphia Housing Authority take the steps needed to make sure their property is well-maintained and pleasing to the eye. I hope their hard work will encourage all of our property owners to step up to the plate and make Arkadelphia not only a great place to call home, but also a BEAUTIFUL place to call home,” Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce Board President David Goodman said.
