🇺🇸 Honored to be part of the Arlington Heights Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony as we joined our community in remembering and paying tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Thank you to our students, families, staff, and community members who walked alongside us, waved their flags, and helped make this meaningful tradition so special. Together, we reflected on the true meaning of Memorial Day and the importance of honoring those who gave everything for our freedom.

❤️ This school year will never happen again. ❤️

The lessons. 📚 The friendships. 🤝 The performances. 🎭 The celebrations. 🎉 The discoveries. 💡 The accomplishments. 🏆 The smiles. 😊

Not because those things won’t happen again because they happened here, with these people, during this moment in time.

That’s what made 2025-2026 uniquely ours. ❤️

Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for another incredible year. We are grateful for every moment we shared together and for the opportunity to help transform tomorrow.

☀️ Have a wonderful summer, D25 Fam!

The sweetest sounds you’ll hear all day. 🦆💛

When Gertrude and her ducklings were ready to move on from the Dryden courtyard, the Dryden team helped make sure they arrived safely at their new home.

Teachers, staff, administration, facilities, and crossing guard Mr. Poteracki all pitched in to guide the ducklings down the block, across Arlington Heights Road, and to a pond at The Moorings of Arlington Heights. Shout out to the for their assistance crossing Central Road.

Just another unforgettable day at Dryden, and proof that more than our students learn and grow in our buildings.

Full circle moment 💙🎓✨

Over the past two weeks, the Class of 2026 made their way back to the halls where it all began for our annual Senior Walk!

From high fives and hallway cheers to hugs, smiles, and a few “Wait… is that really YOU?!” moments, graduating seniors reconnected with the teachers and staff who helped shape their early school years. 🥹

For our seniors, it’s a chance to walk the halls one more time before the next big chapter. And for our teachers and staff? A pretty special reminder of the impact they make every single day, seeing former students all grown up and ready to take on what’s next. ✨

Congratulations, Class of 2026, we are so proud of you and can’t wait to see where life takes you next! 🎉

Albert Einstein, Kobe Bryant, Abraham Lincoln, Taylor Swift, and Jane Goodall all showed up at Westgate this week…and somehow nobody questioned it. 😄🎤📚

Our 5th graders transformed into famous athletes, historians, scientists, musicians, politicians, and more for the annual Wax Museum, bringing their characters to life with creative presentations, costumes, and fun facts for families and staff.

One minute you’re walking through the hallway…next minute you’re getting life advice from Abraham Lincoln and hearing tour updates from Taylor Swift. 😂

Awesome job to all of our 5th graders and teachers for making learning this much fun! 👏✨

One Stacey winning a statewide award? Amazing.

Two Staceys at the Board meeting? Even better. 😆

Huge congratulations to Stacey Mallek, a district 25 alumni, on receiving the Illinois ASBO Ronald E. Everett Distinguished Service Award! 🏆🎉

This statewide recognition honors exceptional leadership, dedication, and service in school business operations and if you know Stacey, you know one version simply wasn’t enough for the celebration. 👏

$150k over 19 years?! 🤯

Patton’s 19th Annual Benefit Walk-a-Thon 👟💙✨ | May 2026 | Supporting Make-A-Wish Illinois

What an incredible day at Patton Elementary School as students, staff, and families came together for the annual Walk-a-Thon on May 14th! Over the past 19 years, Patton Elementary has raised more than $150,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois, helping grant life-changing wishes for children and families.

From cheering each other on to walking side-by-side, the day was filled with energy, teamwork, school spirit, and fun. This event truly showcased the strength of the Patton community and the positive impact we can make when we come together.

A special thank you to the Arlington Heights Police Department, Mt. Prospect Police Department, and Arlington Heights Fire Department for supporting the event and bringing so much energy to the day. We’d also like to thank the Galactic Empire for making a surprise appearance and helping make the Walk-a-Thon even more memorable! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and supported this special tradition over the years. Your enthusiasm and generosity continue to help make wishes come true. 💫
