This morning marked the end of an era as the Sheraton made its final exit from Arlington's skyline. 💥

For decades, it welcomed visitors, hosted unforgettable events, and became a familiar landmark for so many who passed through our city. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, we're even more excited for what's next.

The future is rising in its place with the Americana by Loews Hotels expansion, bringing 500 new guest rooms and a new chapter of hospitality, meetings, and unforgettable experiences to Arlington.

Thank you for the memories, Sheraton. And here's to the future, Americana! 🏗️✨

Memorial Day is a time to reflect, remember, and honor those who served. This weekend, visit the National Medal of Honor Museum for family-friendly experiences centered around remembrance, service, and the stories of our nation's heroes.

From the Field of Flags memorial installation featuring 644 flags representing Medal of Honor recipients killed in action, to immersive exhibits and firsthand recipient stories, it's a meaningful way to spend Memorial Day weekend in Arlington.

Friday-Monday | 10am-5pm

Some activities are free to the public. Active-duty military receive free admission, and veterans receive discounted admission.
