If the unthinkable happened to you, would you know what to do before officers arrive?

Burleson Police Department, in conjunction with North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Burleson Public Library, is hosting a Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event class to help you and your family be better prepared to survive a violent encounter.

During this training, we will:
Walk through a brief history of real-world scenarios and decision making under stress
Learn about how and why our bodies react to stress events as they do
Review actual incident footage
Discuss response strategies you can use to survive these critical incidents
