We offer summer camps for kids of all ages for single overnights to several nights. Register on line at dakcamps.org

We also have a year-round, 11-guest room retreat center that is year-round. Our "Living Waters Retreat Center" offers full dining option

s, a very large (60 person) conference room and an executive board-like conference room. Two of our large Camp cabins, which hold 32 people in 4 bunk-style rooms are also available year-round. These large cabins have a large open great room in the center of the cabin great for games, family time and presentations. All camp is 'wi-fi'; we also have projection equipment and large screen televisions at our facilities.

Our Grandparents and Me session 1 has been having a blast learning about God’s love and promises through a wilderness adventure. Jeff and Cynthia Nelson, with their granddaughter Elsie, do a phenomenal job of engaging grandparents and grandkids to experience camp together. We are grateful for their ministry and for this special time set apart for these families.

Just a quick update:
We are all okay at the camp! We had a nasty storm roll through and were able to welcome nearly 70 people seeking safety in this wild weather.

We are grateful to serve our community by providing a safe place when weather gets dangerous. And we usually have snacks! It’s truly an honor be the shelter-in-place location around the lake.

To the Hamlin county emergency management team and the Hamlin County storm spotters, we are forever grateful to partner with you to keep our campers, guests, and neighbors safe.

We have said hello and good bye to several groups already this summer and are excited for the rest of the summer.

Our main lodge dining hall is a second home to the majority of the staff (seriously, even on their days off they’re hanging out and lending a hand).

It’s also where friends are made, warmth is shared, people are fed physically and spiritually.

We are grateful for our staff who love to love on our campers and guests. Kaelyn, one of our 2nd year staffers, lifeguard, and animal wrangler, loves to draw on our menu board. This is her latest creation.

We are gearing up for our 2026 camping season and are so STOKED!!

At LPC, we are highly committed to the safety and wellbeing of our campers and guests, which means that we take every measure to ensure our neighbors and weekend campers know our property is private.

So if you live around the lake, or love camping at the state park, please make sure you inform people that the camp is for registered guests and if they’d like to utilize our space that they need to call the camp and talk with the site director (me, Nicole) first to find out what’s possible and what forms need to be filled out for safety purposes. Thank you!!

Things have been busy as we prepare the camp for summer, however, it’s always a good time to hang with Asbury United Methodist Church on their Camp Wednesday!

We sang songs, shared in small groups, and reminded ourselves of how loved we are by God and our community.

Can’t wait to see you at camp this summer!!!!
